Where it started
Houston-raised. Austin-built.
I grew up in Houston, Texas, taking things apart to see how they worked and teaching myself whatever I needed to put them back together. That curiosity never went away. Today I live in Austin, where Keasling Engineering is based.
The career
A decade in intelligence & security.
I've spent more than ten years in intelligence and security operations across government and the private sector. I've supported national security and counterterrorism missions, including work as a contractor with the National Security Agency, worked alongside law enforcement and federal task forces, and led security operations and fusion centers for Fortune 100 companies including Tesla and Dell Technologies.
That work taught me what happens when information moves too slowly, when tools don't talk to each other, and when teams are forced to fight their software instead of the problem in front of them.
The engineer
Self-taught. Enterprise-tested.
I'm a self-taught engineer and coder. I learned to build because the tools I needed didn't exist yet. Along the way I've helped develop, integrate, and scale enterprise-level SaaS programs inside Fortune 100 companies and government intelligence operations, from internal dispatch systems to global alerting platforms.
I hold multiple degrees and specializations, but the most valuable education came from shipping software that real teams relied on, under real pressure.
Why I build
Technology that earns trust.
I love technology, and I love security operations. Keasling Engineering is where the two meet. Every product we build, including our flagship platform Highground Global Intelligence, starts from the same question: what would make this team faster, safer, and more confident?
